Matt Bowling

is a n historian, former second-grade teacher and the founder of the Palo Alto civics program for kids called Kidizens. He is also the author of two short books on Palo Alto history, Nice Day for a Stroll and Palo Alto History for Kids.

In addition, he has created numerous websites including Blizzardof78.org about his first memory—the great snowstorm that hit Boston when he was three—along with other educational and history websites such as Superpridecards.org, ElectionWall.org and Debatestats.com.

He loves the Malian band Amadou & Miriam, the movie “Paper Moon” and best of all, playing with his 3-year-old daughter, Addie Luna.
